2 years! Didn't seem that long but its been 2 years since i last visted Siem Reap. And such changes!
The airport is brand new and this time i didn't need a VISA to enter the Kingdom of Cambodia. As I was drove through the main streets, i noticed so many new hotels had sprout where none had been.
Has it only been 2 years? The old man at Ta Prohm (aka Tomb Raider temple) is no longer there (maybe its his day off...) and the Banyan tree over the door seems to have suffered some major trauma... but the smiles on the kids' faces are of the same megawatts and the people of Cambodia exudes the same gentleness and tenacity for life.
